We customize your journey to Ireland and Beyond. Whether your journey is an independent self drive, a chauffeur drive or something in between, we work with you to plan the best option based on your requirements and budget.
Celtic Journeys is NOT a Travel Agency, we are a tour operator. We do not book air only, we offer air as a service for clients taking one of our private itineraries or travelling on our escorted tours if they require assistance.
How do our fees work?
We can offer a one hour consultation either by phone or in person for a fee of $100. We gather your ideas, add our suggestions and you receive a suggested itinerary and price for your trip. This $100 is deducted from the cost of the package should you decide to move forward with Celtic Journeys. Alternatively, if you prefer you can take the plan we send and move forward and reserve your own trip.
Our price for your package includes our fee. To ensure you avail of the best value and quality, Celtic Journeys contracts with our selected vendors for special confidential rates and part of that contract requires that we do not disclose those rates, so we cannot break down that package pricing.
What's next?
If you wish to move forward with your trip we send you a registration form to complete and you will need to return this with an initial deposit that is based on any prepayments we need to pay out on your behalf or use for guarantees. This information is required in order for us to secure the best accommodations and book any other requirements like internal flights, trains etc.
Once we have secured everything we will updated you and send you a final invoice for payment which is due 8 weeks prior to departure on your trip. This time frame allows us to finalize your documents, travel information and mail them out in time for you to start final preparations for your journey.
You can make payments over time if you wish as long as everything is paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend it.
We understand that life happens and will certainly do our best to get any refunds possible. However initial deposits are non-refundable and depending on when the cancellation happens and the policy in place in the accommodations etc there may not be any refunds. Airline tickets are generally non-refundable, once purchased.
